Three Songs (1970)

For flute, cello, bass and piano – Duration: c 10:00

A “crossover” piece written before the term existed.  The term “song” in the title refers to the form and expressive quality rather than any actual vocal component.  Written for the composer and his friends, this very accessible and lyrical work features a cello and bass duet in the middle movement.
