Dancing

An attractive and significant contribution to the percussion ensemble literature, this 11 minute work features 4 movements: The antiphonal One-Legged Dance, the exotic Bug Dance, Dream Dance with its sustained mallet and bell sounds and the powerful War Dance.  Cleanly and sensitively scored, Dancing is sophisticated, but accessible to the audience; challenging, yet enjoyable for the players.  Favorably reviewed in Percussive Notes (July 1986), this work has been performed by more than 60 college percussion ensembles throughout the continental United States, Puerto Rico and Japan.
